Served:   City School Children aged K-7 th Gr. (27 served /week)

Special Talents: Leaders skilled in creating arts programming & a diverse & positive environment.

Goals/Dreams:

To create scholarships for 10 at risk students recommended by school music teachers.

• To expand and reach out to a larger population.

• To collaborate with community groups in addition to PUSH Physical Theater.

We are considering a collaboration with Drama Kids International.

We are also forming a Select Choir to present 2 programs per year in the community.

We are excited that our program will be expanding to include a dietician working with the students on Wednesdays (1:30 –3:30) to prepare healthy meals. We also received a grant to offer Tae Kwon Do on Wednesday afternoons as well (4:00 – 5:15.)

Resources Needed:

Grant Writer to seek funding through grants & community partnerships.

Funders for summer camp to support 2 summer camp slots per week for school-age student participating from the RAIHN program. Total cost of summer camp slots is $125 per student per week ($1500 for two student for entire 6 weeks.)

Upgrading the tables and chairs is a real concern, because the chairs collapse if children do not sit on them exactly right.

Volunteers Needed:

Tutors  --Wednesday afternoons.  Flexible timing.

Presenters willing to share their interests and hobbies with the children.

Business Manager to help with collection, budgeting and writing reports.
