Education Programs at Incarnate Word
“Providing leadership for the
exploration of God’s Word and life-long faith formation”.
- The
Word Explored Core Group Mission Statement
Martin Luther spoke of the two pillars that
hold up the Church: Worship and Education.
We take that seriously at Incarnate Word, seeking to find as many ways as possible to
provide opportunities for learning about God, God’s Word, and ourselves. In baptism, God claims us as
beloved children, and we respond to that gift throughout our lives, always striving to grow in our faith
lives.
Learning is a lifelong endeavor, and
we seek to provide many opportunities for faith formation for our youngest disciples to our oldest
saints. Through traditional Bible study, Sunday School classes, January Term exploration of the
arts, Confirmation study for young people, Adult Forum focusing on contemporary issues, book
discussions, retreats, mission trips and study trips, we are surrounded by many opportunities to grow in our
faith.
We invite you to explore our learning
opportunities and grow with us as we continue to hear God’s message of love, hope and grace.
