Financial assistance is
available to qualifying students who seek religious education for service in the ministry—an
Educational Memorial Fund (EMF) has been created at The Lutheran Church of the Incarnate
Word.

The Educational Memorial Fund (EMF) may
provide financial assistance to candidates seeking religious education. After reviewing the number of
applications during the designated time period, a grant may be awarded based upon a person’s qualifications and
need.
Candidates must
be:
- residents of greater Rochester and Monroe County
and
- members of or have parents who are members of Incarnate
Word or
- members of other Lutheran Churches
or
- members of other protestant churches
and
- furthering or completing their education and training in
colleges or seminaries for religious ministries.

Acknowledgment of an application will be
sent within one week. The Incarnate Word Educational Memorial Fund Team will review all applications, and
candidates will be notified whether they qualify for a grant. If a candidate qualifies for a grant, they
will be notified of the amount and the time of receipt of such grant.
