Educational Memorial Scholarship

The Educational Memorial Fund  (EMF) may provide financial assistance to candidates seeking religious education. After reviewing the number of applications during the designated time period, a grant may be awarded based upon a person’s qualifications and need.

Candidates must be:

• residents of greater Rochester and Monroe County and

• members of or have parents who are members of Incarnate Word or

• members of other Lutheran Churches or

• members of other protestant churches and                                                      

• furthering or completing their education and training in colleges or seminaries for religious ministries.  

$10,000 is available for 2009 awards.

Acknowledgment of an application will be sent within one week. The Incarnate Word Educational Memorial Fund Team will review all applications, and candidates will be notified whether or not they qualify for a grant.
